Teachers are burdened with time-consuming and meticulous manegerial and administrative responsibilities. It is imperative teachers have the tools at their disposal to qualitatively and effectively support, assess and guide their students in their respective, and differing, learning journeys. Given how digitally integrated learning management systems (LMSs) are within current classrooms, it is critical teachers are working on a system that minimizes administrative drudgery, maximizes the quality of oversight they can provide, and incorporates tools for creating and provisioning class work when feasible.

Where You At?

When attending events or venues, individuals often encounter the challenge of being unable to locate their friends due to the loss of internet connection or poor network coverage.

IN-DUC

We provide fossil fuel-free outdoor cooking, starting the energy transition in the outdoor market. The climate goals of the EU are the following: 2030 should have a carbon reduction and by 2050 the entire EU should be carbon neutral. In the current outdoor climate, more than 95% of people still cook on fossil fuels (mostly gas) and 98% of new caravans and campers are offered with gas cooktops. The reasons people don't cook on electricity yet when cooking on a campsite are: - Electricity supply at campsites isn’t high enough to be able to cook. → supply isn’t increased because of the costs of such renovations and the protection of nature reserves. - Electrical options aren’t marketed for- and tailored to the outdoor market. - Electrical options always have a plug, taking away from mobility. Current ways of cooking bring problems, of which the most important ones are: - Current solutions emit greenhouse gasses. - Current options are dangerous with open flames and toxic fumes - Current options can’t be used in every kind of weather (windy conditions) - Prices of fossil fuels are only getting higher - People don’t know when a canister is empty - The returning of gas canisters is a hassle - The size of an entire set can be too large to bring on a vacation - The amount of heat often can’t be adjusted

The current approach to marketing and discovering events is both inefficient and outdated. Event organizers often waste significant resources on broad marketing strategies that fail to engage their target audience effectively. Furthermore, potential customers are often led down by generic advertisements and the hassle of finding events that trulv match their interests. This disconnect highlights a pressing unmet need for a more personalized, engaging way to connect organizers and event-goers. We've observed a shift in market demand towards tailored content and experiences, yet the event industry lags in adopting these advancements. We are here to adopt a new way of finding and marketing events by absolutely revolutionizing the engagement between customers and organizers!

The low end of the "fast" restaurant market is in chaos in certain places (university campuses, shopping malls, business areas) - long queues, lack of reliable information and reviews about available restaurants, and existing review platforms can not keep up with the changes. This considers especially vendors as food trucks and small pubs. Franchises benefit from good contracts to get favorable locations (faculty canteens - Food City at TU Delft) and brand size and recognition to create more favorable marketing campaigns and more efficient systems (self-order apps and kiosks - KFC, McDonald) when small business owners can not afford that.

Fungi for Future

Start up centered around the production of mycelium-based materials for packaging applications such as protective packaging and foodpackaging.

Seedlings Protection by Enactus EUR

Across Europe, there's forest dieback. That has multiple negative consequences as it reduces the habitats of animals and impacts our climate negatively. Planting trees however is very labor- and therefore cost intensive since quarterly maintenance is needed for 3 years after planting. As a result of parasites and weather conditions, around 30% of all planted seedlings die before they are fully grown, making it difficult to counteract the trend of forest dieback.
